The Orangery:

For celebrations of 30 to 60 guests

Bright, airy and flooded with natural light, our stunning Orangery is the ideal setting for larger baby showers. Based on your guest numbers, we can arrange the tables as long trestles or elegant rounds, leaving plenty of space for baby shower games, a gift table and photo moments. Its garden views make it a favourite for spring and summer celebrations, and a wonderfully cosy retreat in the cooler months.

The Dining Room:

For gatherings of 10 to 40 guests

For a more intimate baby shower, our charming Dining Room offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Depending on guest numbers, tables can be arranged as one large box table, perfect for keeping everyone together, or as smaller rounds for a relaxed, sociable feel.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY

Your room will be ready and waiting when you arrive, dressed with fresh flowers and laid out to your confirmed table arrangement. If you are bringing decorations, balloons, or a backdrop, we ask that you arrive a little early so you have time to set up before your guests.

Your welcome drinks will be served as guests arrive, so there is no awkward wait while people settle in. From there, the afternoon runs at your pace. Food is typically served around an hour into your booking, giving everyone time to arrive, catch up, and find their feet before sitting down together.

If you have let us know you would like space for games, we will have the room laid out with that in mind. There is no need to rearrange tables on the day; just tell us when you book and we will take care of it.

The full four hours is yours from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Our team will be on hand throughout but will stay out of the way unless you need us. The idea is that it feels like your space for the afternoon, not ours.

BOOKING & PAYMENTS

A £10 per person deposit is required to secure your booking (non-refundable).

The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event.

Absolutely! We welcome you to add your decorative touches such as balloons and backdrops to personalise your event. As you have the use of the room for four hours with our Baby Shower Package, this allows plenty of time for setting up any decorations or games that you have planned.

Yes. With prior notice we can always cater for guests requesting gluten free food. We can cater for most special dietary requirements with notice given. We welcome you to give us a call to discuss individual guest needs.

No baby shower is complete without some baby-themed games! Let us know if you are planning to play some fun games and we can make sure the room is big enough to accommodate your guest numbers with this in mind.

Most baby showers take place between six and eight months into pregnancy, usually around 24 to 32 weeks. This gives the mum-to-be time to enjoy the celebration comfortably before the arrival. That said, there are no rules; some families prefer a sip and see party after the baby is born, and we are happy to host either.
